Details:长城类别：关堡 经纬高度：东经：112° 6′ 北纬：39° 18′ 海拔：1704 总体情况：利民堡位于朔城区利民镇利民村，现村民大多居于堡内。堡的历史原样是：堡平面呈“油篓”状，西北、东北两角近呈方形，西南、东南两角呈圆弧形。墙内为夯土墙，外砌行錾片石或条石，墙顶外砌垛口，内设女墙。周设10个马面，其中北墙2个、南墙2个，东墙、西墙个设3个。北墙顶正中建有玉皇庙，东南墙顶建有魁星阁，西南墙顶建有观音堂。东墙、西墙、南墙各开一门，门外设瓮城，西北角、东北角各设一角楼。堡内有东西、南北两条十字形大街将堡内分为东北、西北、西南、东南四个小区，中心为四牌楼。南北中轴线上从由南向北原依次为南门、三牌楼、四牌楼、文昌阁和玉皇庙。东西大街由东向西依次为东门、东阁、四牌楼、西阁和西门。东西大街北侧有岳飞庙、财神庙。东北区建有马王庙；西北区建有大寺庙、城隍庙和小校尝娘娘庙等；东南区建有百匠庙、水井。东西大街北部为营房区，南部为居民区，大街均用石板铺砌。东门外建有关羽庙、龙王庙；南门外建有五岳庙、义行碑；北墙外建有护城楼。由于日军7年占领的破坏和建国后58年大跃进时期的浩劫，昔日利民堡内建筑除古楼基座外全部已毁。 堡东西437.2米，南北577.4米。东墙残长342米，底宽8米，顶宽0.8米-4.5米，残高6.2米.；北墙长430米，底宽8米，顶宽0.8米-5.8米，残高0.5米-9.2米；西墙残长450米，底宽8米，顶宽1.1米-3.5米，残高0.5米-9米；南墙长227.4米，底宽6.9米，顶宽5.1米，残高6.1米。利民堡东距长城墙体54米，是古麦川口防御之要冲。 堡北125米处为护城楼,现存基础，一层台基东西35米，南北40米，高2.2米-4米,夯层0.06米-0.08米,台体东西17米,南北16米,高3.3米-4米,夯层0.12米-0.20米,夯层间夹碎石。 附近遗存：利民堡东距长城古麦川口154米。
